Congrats on your 3rd by the way.

I just watched the video, and it's rather sweet. What it needs, is development of the characters. Give them a reason to love each other, rather than just love at first sight.

Maybe give the a rather large obstacle to overcome. Something like, they can't leave their flower, or they would wither away.
Or a diver takes the guy away(Or girl, i say guy just to give a change in heroic pace as far as what sex is the hero)
Or bring in another love intrest, and create a love triangle, and develope a story as to how the first two would end up together.
Or give us a good little love story, but one that tries to avoid using to many love cliches.
But give is people who we actually want to care for. Make us sad when they're sad, make us angry when they are angry. Pretty much, just give it as much emotion as you can =3

Well, as for the progression of the couple in Blue Lotus, I'd like to see you take it in a slightly different direction. Everybody knows you can do cute and happy well; it's your forte, after all. But we all know real life isn't always so bubbly. How about introducing things such as temptation, jealousy, and the like? The negative aspects that couples endure all the time in real life, but if they can overcome them, it makes them stronger. Make it /real/.

As for your art, I wouldn't mind seeing more of Fred and Miri. What can I say, I'm a sucker for OC's.

And as for a question: If you submit something to both DA and NG, do you prefer feedback in one place, the other, or both? For instance, I don't really comment on your stuff here on NG, because I do it on DA instead.

Your work is awesome just fine the way you've been doing it in my opinion. It's good you seek improvement though, just remember to not change your overall "personal style" as you progress.

I'm far from an aficionado, but I really love the pieces you've put up. Do keep up the good work.

you see... i have a younger brother and he learns stuff from me... and i show him stuff *athough it tends to be the first one more often then not*... you both have your own styles and your going to be alot better by the time you get to sabs age if you carry on drawing... pratice and learn from watching others and studying stuff... during art classes in college i spent a vast amount of time watching others, picking up ideas and tips on how to improve my own work as well as make things quicker...

you are currently learing from sab so your skills will improve alot quicker then hers as she didnt have anyone to learn from... at this moment in time i still believe sab is just ahead of you at the moment... so keep going for it :3!!!
